Moving on

I finally took the plunge and I've switched over from Flash to ToonBoom Animate.  Although Flash did me a great service all of these years, it was starting to give me problems with some of the more complex scenes that I've been doing in Black Sunrise.  So, taking advantage of a sale I scooped up a copy and started learning it.  All-in-all it's a great program and the drawing tools are excellent.  There's a few annoying things - but that's the same as any program and really what I find bad, another animator may actually use, so I won't bother listing my complaints.  And so, work continues.  I'm still hoping to do a video tutorial soon.  I just got a good microphone headset, so I'm a bit closer to making that a reality.
Well, back to work for me.  (By the way, the picture above is a shot of the scene I'm currently working on)

Podcast interview from TAAFI

Well, TAAFI was a great success.  The first ever Toronto Animation Arts Festival International was a fun-filled weekend; I got to meet some great people and reconnect with some old friends as well.  I was on two panels (see below), which were well attended and well received.

And Marlo and I were interviewed by Guys with Pencils for their podcast which can be heard here.
