I'll be at TAAFI

In July will be the first ever TAAFI (Toronto Animation Arts Festival International).

I will be on two panels: "Indie Animators: Making it Work" on July 7 and "Style vs. Design" on July 8.

The first panel will also feature Nick Fox-Geig and Winston Hacking & Brett Long, aka Exploding Motorcar, as well as being moderated by Chris Walsh. It will mainly focus around the making of independent animated films and how to survive at doing it. Similar in theme to the panel I was on last year at the OIAF.

The second panel features John Kricfalusi as well as my amazingly beautiful and talented wife, Marlo Meekins. This talk will centre around the different aspects of designing characters and backgrounds for animation.

This is shaping up to be a great festival I think. So if you are around Toronto it'll probably be worth checking out. See you there!
