Rough designs

Here's some rough design work I did a couple years ago for Chuck Gammage. It was for a promo for a tv series called "FatAss Cat".

The spot can be found here (no direct link - scroll down to the bottom of the page on the right) It was directed by my good friend Graham Falk.

Enjoy!

HAHAHAHA, great designs, Nick!

Me and my pals were just talking about this the other day. Somebody needs to do a 60's blues cartoon. This would've been spot on.

Kudos to everyone involved, I laughed out loud at the gags.

Hey Nick, would you mind answering my question? I'm really curious. Thanks dude. -Ryan

Hi Ryan
Actually I have no idea if they were rotoscoped...I didn't work on the actual production, I just did the one ruff design shown here...It was animated at Chuck Gammage so there are a lot of really good animators that could have done it, but judging on how it looks I suspect it was rotoscoped from old films.
