Help wanted

So it looks like my busy schedule just got a little busier...on top of this pilot for Teletoon, it looks like I may be doing an animated music video as well....I NEED HELP!

If you live in the Ottawa area and have good drawing and animation skills, and know Flash, Photoshop etc....please contact me either here on this blog, or via email....nick [at]pyatyletka[dot]com. I will also be at the animation festival in Ottawa this year, if you want to track me down there.....

Basically, the job will run from now until the end of December(roughly). I need an assistant to help out with animation, layout etc.

My friends,

Here's some still frames from the ongoing production on the Angora Napkin pilot that we are doing for Teletoon.

This show will be a nearly 100% digital production. I'm working on figuring out a good system to avoid the generic flash production method in favour of a more classic television animation model which utilizes less animators. Basically, it will be along the lines of the old Hanna Barbara system, limited animation using strong layout poses and interesting designs. My theory is that if the scenes look really good the audience will forgive the lack of "slick" modern-looking animation, which is based on pre-existing character models and computer 'tweened' symbols.
