Yo Gabba Gabba airdate

For any folks living in America, my short video (Jingalong) that I did for "Yo Gabba Gabba" is debuting on Tuesday, August 28 at 10:30 am on Nickelodeon.


The piece is called "Kites Are Fun" and was a cover of the Free Design song by the Parallelograms.

Molotov Monday

Progress is being made on my "Yellow Cake", I've started preliminary animation.

Since this film is going to have a lot of FX scenes I've decided to animate most of them first to get them out of the way. I'm doing all of these shots directly in Flash, drawing them with my Wacom tablet. Here's a sample of one of the scenes I've got done so far.

Ottawa Animation Festival-Yipee!!!

It's just been officially announced, "The Waif of Persephone" has been selected for the official competition in the 2007 Ottawa International Animation Festival.

Now I'm all nervous for some reason....Even though I have no chance of winning anything I still get all anxious about these things, especially since I'm going to be at this festival... But it's great news though.

In other news, I'm nearly finished all of the layouts for "Yellow Cake" So keep a watch on this blog space for some samples as soon as I get a chance to scan them in.
