Actually, I can't remember exactly. The settings in Photoshop that I did the test with ended up being completely different in FinalCut Pro. I just did it by eye. I think I probably should have done it more since it doesn't really show up very well on the final video. Oh well, live and learn
Ncross. I can hook you up with some nice plugins for fcp. legal and all. A great one is called cgm aged film le. that is a free thingy and can add all kinds of cool stuff. I found another one that can make your images look like they were shot in technicolour! fun fun fun! I think what you ended up with looked really good. some of these plugins can get a bit heavy. What you did wasn't distracting at all from the content and simply added a wonderful flavour. Good luck with the festivals!
