Two announcements:First: The Waif of Persephone is finished. I am now rendering out the final film and will be burning the first few DVD copies this weekend. The final film is 12 minutes 20 seconds of pure joy. I'm really surprised I finished it this fast...I was expecting earlier this year that it would take me until sometime in 2007 to get finished...but here we are. There may be a few available early for sale...although i want to do it right and have a really nice DVD with some extras to make it worthwhile to purchase. I don't have any good DVD authoring software yet so it may take a little bit of time...and so this brings us to the next announcement...
I mentioned that I would have it on an iPod during the Ottawa Animation Festival for people to see, but Chris Robinson, the festival's creative director, has done me one better. Now, The Waif of Persephone will have it's WORLD PREMIERE on Friday September 22nd. It will be screened in the NAC's Southam Hall in the Ottawa animation retrospective. Whoopie! Hope to see you all there.

One thing to everyone out there: THIS DEFIES DESCRIPTION! IT'S SPECACULAR!
It's got everything a cartoon should have - a point of view on society, beautiful colour, funny animation, incredible sound, and a really gripping story with stunning pacing, truly funny drawings, AND it's got a wonderful sense of charicature on every level.
