More animation

As previously posted, the animation is all coming together now. I'm about half way through getting all the scenes put together coloured up with bg's etc. I'm hoping to have it done pretty soon now after five years of production (mostly in my spare time).

Anyhow, enough of my yakking! Here's a finished scene to have a peek at....

Thanks for checking in!

Hooray For NICK CROSS!!!!!
I'm soo excited to see the finished film.
I really respect the fact that you stick to your guns and make a film instead of talking about making a film like countless others.
Cheers and Good luck to you on the release of your film!
I hope it wins a freaking Oscar!!!

This is looking so spiffy!
I hope you'll remember to put this beast online when it's finished, even if it takes a while! Some of us can't watch it any other way...

Aww..thanks everybody. At this point I have 5 out of 8 sequences completely finished. I may have to put it aside now for a little bit to catch up on real paying work and life obligations. But hopefully I'll still have it done in a few months.
When it is done, i will put it up on my website but I'm also going to put it out as a DVD, maybe with some of my other films included.
I'll keep you posted.

Looks great, Nick! I love how the hat becomes a trailing effect (like a tail) when the little guy runs off screen. That's a great take, by the way. I love what you've done here.

Can't wait to see more!

Good stuff Nick! You're an inspiration for sure. I love the colour especially.. and the weird floating pipe. Is that from some psycho- analysis book..it looks very familiar "Le Pipe" or something like that. Nicely done. Cheerio--Suz.

The pipe idea is from a Rene Magritte painting called "The Treason of Images" or something like that...he was the first artist that truly blew my mind when I first saw his work in grade 9 art class. I don't really know why I painted this as a background...it was just a weird idea that popped into my head one day and since I couldn't decide on what else to put in the background, this is ended up being it.
