I was at the Ottawa Animation Festival this week. I met a bunch of cool people and saw a few good films. It seems, however that a lot of people who check out this "(p)blog" seem to think I don't update it enough. Okay, I've got no excuse now, since I've just finished up my storyboard work for "6teen"; I've plunged back into the bg painting for "The Waif of Persephone". Today I finished up all of the backgrounds for the first sequence. I'll be posting more as I get them done.
Here's an example of one of them.

OIAF 2005
Hey Gang,
Maybe if you're going to be at the Ottawa animation festival this year I might run into you. I've been regularily attending the festival since 1997. I've had a film in competition in 2000 as well as one at the Student Animation Festival in 1999. Also I did the poster and signal film for the 2003 Student Animation Festival. Of course, it's fairly easy for me to go to this outstanding event since it is located in the same town I live in. But still, it's worth the short drive to get there (as well as the cost for a festival pass).
Anyway, prepare for more regular updates in the near future, since I am just finishing up my storyboard work and looking forward to a bit of some time off!
Just in time for the festival, yay!
