The Waif of Persephone Production Journal

So, perhaps after two years of mulling over this idea, I have decided to take the plunge and start a "Production Journal" documenting the fascinatining details of the making of my new "short" film: The Waif of Persephone.
As it stands now, I have been working on this endeavour for almost four years. Right now I am well into the animation. The film itself clocks in at 12 minutes making it my longest film to date. I'm not sure what exactly I should start by showing so maybe I'll do a quick re-cap, starting with some development art, which I will post sporadically as I get it scanned in etc.
These first images are fairly recent and were used as promotional art for a failed attempt at trying to get funding for the film from the Canada Council.
They were painted in Photoshop, and I tried to give them a "Golden Book" look.

A new Blog

And thus I begin my new "Blog". I guess it's not a 'new' 'blog' since there was no 'old' 'blog' but alas you get the point. Anyway, I made the attempt to start one of these about a year ago and then never got around to posting anything on it, thereby rendering it 'extinct' So here's to tenacity!
