These bgs are awesome! Love the colors, the drawings, everything!!! I don't know what it is but something in the men reminds me a bit of Ben Shahn's paintings. Of course, Shahn never drew this funny; maybe it's just the mood. Can't wait to see the finished cartoon.

I checked out that artist-Ben Shahn-I love that stuff...sort of like Otto Dix (one of my all time favorites!)
